ROTF LMAO!

There once was a time, long long ago, when we had a couple of really good posters on here. I and many others came to this site to read their irreverant humor on things on and off the field at Arrowhead.

We had Hermhater, whoes silliness made even the worse days brighten up. We had Canada, who never was at a loss for coming up with something fun to say, even when he was smacking a member down for saying something stupid.

Coach participated more then too, as he seemed to be having fun and the other mods participated. Alas, things changed.

First it happened to Hermhater, someone took offense to a joke and he had his chain jerked. Interestingly enough the person that caused that problem no longer posts here and unfortunately, HH hardly posts here anymore either.

Then there was this latest thing with KCChris and Canada. One member’s inability to understand sarcasm and humor and his over sensititivity lead to an issue where Canada left. Of course there was more to it than just him, but he was at the core of it.

I love that the board has grown and with the growing I know things change, but somethings should not have to change. The biggest thing that should not have to change is that this is a release for me to come here. Two different people have caused two minor parts of my release mechanism and have made them go away.

I don’t like them for that. Rbedgood and KCChris have in the lastest round single handedly taken a huge part of the soul of this site and pissed it away. Thanks guys. Fortunately, (probably for me) rbedgood has been pretty silent here. However, KCChris has not, and each and everytime he comes in here and posts something idiotic, I plan to be there to point out his idiocy. I know, as much as he posts on here and as idioctic as those posts are at times, this is a huge job that I am not sure I am up to the task to accomplish alone, but there are plenty of others who feel like I do about it.

And when the time comes that I get banned, or I just get tired of the fact that there is no humor, no soul, no fun, and nothing left but “find the butt plug in this picture” games, then I guess I will make that exodus that so many others have done.

Look, we all have to remember that this is in fun, even as I write this I am trying to put in some fun little laugh out loud statements in it so at least there is a payoff for the reader. Some, (KCCHris) may not find it all that funny, not surprising, and I fully expect to get a snide little rep message of an IM about it as seems to be the MO.

Other than that, I have no problem with anyone around here. Have fun, argue, piss and moan, but most of all, laugh it off and have fun.

Most of that was very well said, and even in my short time here ( 6 months or less) i have noticed a drop in humor, and people getting too sensitive and the overall fun level has dropped. I try to keep it sparked, but it takes a crowd to keep things hopping. :bananen_smilies046:

Maybe the loss in humor isn’t because of the ones blamed but the ones who won’t let it go. I could careless who blames me even though I had nothing to do with anyone leaving. All I wish to say at this point is if you want the issues to go away and have fun, only you as a person can do that, it is nobody else that can as we are all responsible for our own feelings and entertainment.
