I heard we will host a Super Bowl after the upgrade were to happen but they said it required a roof. Wonder if that will happen now?No because the roof did not get voted in by the tax payers. So no hosting of a Super Bowl. The pansies in fair weather and dome teams can’t play with real football teams in all kinds of weather.

Also something like that would probably cost twice as much as what the current repairs cost.I am with you but what I don’t understand is why the hell they need to have a roof over a Stadium to have a Super Bowl. It is suppose to be a Winter Game so why does the stadium need to be heated? To me that makes it more interesting, would be super cool to watch a Super bowl in a snow storm.

I bet it would pass then! I would vote yes… not for the glass roof though.

They just made it a need to have a enclosable stadium for the SB to be hosted so since KC don’t have it there is no SB which sucks.

Stanford Stadium (Stanford, CA) 53°That was the coldest temperature recorded at the start of the Super Bowl when it was an outside stadium.
I am talking below 32 degrees, that was in the 1970s when the Steelers vs Cowboys had an outside Cold weather game. It was suppose to be in the Superdome but it wasn’t ready. They play it on the NFL Network every now and again.
