I would like to welcome all of the newbies. The Chiefs have been struggling this year, but I’m glad to see the amount of new members coming to this site to exchange thoughts/ideas about our favorite team.
So far this season, we have about 800 new members. Many of these new members don’t post, but they all read your comments. Last month, we had 8891 different Chiefs fans visit the site. Compare that to Sept of 2007 when we had 4519 Chiefs fans visit the site. We have nearly doubled in readership. Total visits to the site for Sept 08′ were 18637.
I know some of you have complained about the time it takes to load pages or have made comments that the site is slow. It is slow on occasion. At some point, I will have to upgrade servers. But I appreciate everyone’s understanding that these longer page load times are because of the substantial increase in the amount of people reading your thoughts. I will most likely do a server upgrade at the end of the season. I am hesitant to do it mid-season, because of potential problems that might arise.
Anyhow, welcome to the new members and thanks to everyone for all of your contributions!

I have a friend from there that I gave a link to this site to; I was just about to email him to ask if he checked out the CROWD yet.

Yesterday i lost connection to the site, sometime during the 3 quarter i think it was. But when i came online again this morning i could see that others had posted during the time when it was impossible to connect for me.
But maybe it was because of the load, and even though its a little frustrating, it maybe sign of a lot of traffic to the site, and thats positive
